We’re so excited to offer two completely different classes as part of our 6-week spring series designed with mom in mind. 

Classes start April 28th and May 2nd. 

✨ Tuesdays at 10AM — CribCore
 
We weren’t originally planning a mommy & me class…buuut you showed up and shared how much you wanted a way to work out with your baby, and we listened.

This class is for moms with non-walkers, so you can move your body without needing separate childcare. 

Your baby will join you on the mat! 

✨ Saturdays at 10AM — Sculpt & Play

Bring your 2–5 year old to play in a separate room led by experienced educators (with backgrounds at The School for Young Children, IYKYK), while you take a Sculpt class.

Don't need childcare but still want to join? 

You can sign up without the children's programming add-on and still enjoy our community of moms getting a great workout. 

Since you have shown up from the very beginning, I’m inviting you to join as a Poppy Founding Member.

Founding members will help shape our very first series and receive:
• Early access to class spots
• Priority registration for future series

Non-founding member registration will open on Thursday, March 19th!

Phase one will focus on barre-based fitness: a powerful combination of strength, balance, core work, and low-impact movement that builds endurance and full-body strength.

As Poppy grows, we plan to expand offerings to include:

Rebound (trampoline) fitness
Strength and conditioning classes
Additional movement formats designed for moms

The goal is simple: Create a place where moms can prioritize their health, get stronger, and move consistently, without the usual barriers that often come with motherhood.

Because taking care of yourself isn’t a luxury.

It’s one of the most important things you can do for your family.

No plank poses with little crawlers going through "the tunnel."  No "We Are the Dinosaurs" playing for your cardio.  And no snack breaks that bring your heart rate back down. A real class. For you. While you’re moving, strengthening, and filling your cup, your little one is in another room having their own intentional movement experience through yoga, creative play, and guided activities designed just for them. ❤️Two spaces. ❤️Two experiences. ❤️Both designed with care. Because moms need to take care of themselves too.

When I became a mom, my fitness routine disappeared.

Truthfully, it had already disappeared around week 20 of my 41-week pregnancy.

I always imagined I’d be one of those pregnant women doing squats and pulsing at the barre with a big, round belly. 

But my “incompetent cervix” (yes, that’s the medical term) had other plans and put me on bed rest for the entire second half of my pregnancy.

Then came postpartum. 

A new baby.
A new state (hello from Brooklyn).
A new home.

And postpartum depression that I didn’t even realize I had until 10 months later.

For a long time, the only purpose my sports bras served was compression (doctor’s orders after deciding breastfeeding wasn’t the right choice for me).

Finding my way back to movement took time.

And when I finally did, workouts revolved around nap schedules when I was too tired myself, or missing out on evening time with my husband.

Why do we have to choose between taking care of ourselves and taking care of our kids?

What if you could work out when you wanted, without worrying about timing or childcare?

And what if it was just as fun and enriching for your kids too?

That question is what sparked the idea for Poppy. 

Well, that, and how can I work out sans my 3-year-old making TOOT TOOT TOOT sounds through a loud plastic tube?
